Drucker’s ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship’

Jonathan Donihue, my husband and guest contributor, offers a book recommendation worth considering: Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Book cover: Innovation and Entrepreneurship by Peter F. Drucker. Cover image features a row of four upright light bulbs, with the right-hand bulb illuminated. A fifth bulb is only partially shown to the right of the lighted bulb.
I finished Innovation and Entrepreneurship by Peter F. Drucker today. It was well worth the five-month wait on the library’s hold list.

He defines an entrepreneur as a person who looks at the way things are without prejudice and asks herself questions like, “What use can this be put to?” and “How can I solve this person’s problem?”

The book gives anecdote after anecdote of entrepreneurial ventures that succeeded and ones that failed. Then he clearly shows the patterns of behavior that are leading to predictable results.

No matter what your vocation or avocation, I think that reading this book will help you to be more successful in your endeavors.

Special thanks to Jonathan for crediting our library with putting this resource in his reach. An audio version can be checked out through Overdrive/Library2Go.
