Bellview Elementary School library ‘Top 10’

Featured titles in Oregon Battle of the Books captured all 10 slots again this month on the Bellview Elementary School library “Top 10,” representing the most often-checked-out books during the previous 30 days.
  1. The Sasquatch Escape by Suzanne Selfors (FIC SEL)
  2. Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein (FIC GRA)
  3. How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell (FIC COW)
  4. No Talking by Andrew Clements (FIC CLE)
  5. Charlie Bumpers vs. the Teacher of the Year by Bill Harley (FIC HAR)
  6. What was the March on Washington? by Kathleen Krull (323.11 KRU)
  7. A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park (FIC PAR)
  8. Mission Unstoppable by Dan Gutman (FIC GUT)
  9. Shiloh by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor (FIC NAY)
  10. Diamond Willow by Helen Frost (FIC FRO)
This continued strong showing of OBOB titles on the Bellview library “Top 10” is consistent with student interest. Teams are forming and practices have begun as students prepare to compete. The school tournament will take place in February and the winning team will represent Bellview in a competition with other schools.
