Bellview Elementary School library ‘Top 10’

Featured titles in this year’s Oregon Battle of the Books continue to hold all 10 slots on the Bellview library “Top 10” list. About once per month, I create a flier showcasing the books most often checked out by students from Bellview library.
  1. How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell (FIC COW)
  2. The Sasquatch Escape by Suzanne Selfors (FIC SEL)
  3. What Was Ellis Island? by Patricia Demuth (304.8 DEM)
  4. Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein (FIC GRA)
  5. No Talking by Andrew Clements (FIC CLE)
  6. Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell (FIC RUN)
  7. The Shadows by Jacqueline West (FIC WES)
  8. Shiloh by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor (FIC NAY)
  9. What was the March on Washington? by Kathleen Krull (323.11 KRU)
  10. Charlie Bumpers vs. the Teacher of the Year by Bill Harley (FIC HAR)
The continued prominence of OBOB titles is not at all surprising among most-often checked out books. The Bellview school competition draws ever closer and students scramble to read all titles assigned to them on their teams.
